Bringing an Old Workhouse out of Retirement | Recently I found a guy going through the divorce stage of marriage he had for sale an old 1951 jd a now I have always had a fancy for the letter series tractors and thought I had to grab this one so I made the snag got her home and the first thing I did was hook her up to my little 2 bottom jd plow and start pulling her in all gears the next thing I know I pull the rope on the plow it goes down and I get a thump lump put and it crapped out on me in two feet. ok so now I was wooried next thing I know the tractor I gutted out of motor and every nut and bolt with 700 in head work and over 500 in the block with new pistons and hopefuly soon I will have her up and running like a champ Justin S, In, entered 2007-04-17 My Email Address: Not Displayed |
